I still clearly recalled how impressed I was with Tarmac Works Audi R8 AAPE when I saw it online. the AAPE was also one of the main reason why I started collecting Tarmac. I am a JDM car collector but the artwork on the casting and furthermore it’s based on a actual 1:1 which actually blows me off! It is pretty amazing that Tarmac Works can actually fit such complicated and yet balanced design into a 1:64. I may not have completed other series but the AAPE is a must have for me. The very first released Audi R8 LMS AAPE GT Asia 2016 still ran…
Up for review is the pair of beautifully crafted BMW M3 by Tarmac Works (TWS). It really live up to the reputation of Hobby64 standards. With intricate details and beautiful finish on the entire casting. Not to mention my love for the Jagermeister livery as well as the Malaysian edition Michelin Tires livery. The interior is painted with rollcage color consistent with the body. What I'm impressed most is the green rim line on wheels on the Michelin version. However with such an awesome overall presentation they do not roll as with majority…

Recently more chases do not really come with Green Wheels nor body instead they come in other color variation and treatment for the wheelset such as the one in this video with raw body. It makes a nice pair with the recent Hot Wheels F&F R34 release as well around the same price range. Please subscribe to my channel for more updates and follow @hotkustoms in I…

I still remember how impressed I am when I got my first Tarmac Works (TW) Bathing Ape Audi R8. The attention to details is similar to my favourite Tomica Limited Vintage (TLV) in 1/64. This alone is pretty awesome for a Hong Kong brand whose forte lies in 1/43 and 1/18. Presentation itself is awesome. Each of them come with a sleeve in TW trademark container design along with a jewel case. They are considered as model cars category with limited runs for each release. Since then, I guess I have more than a dozen of 1/64 TW castings. Thanks to m…
