PGPD Assumes Montgomery County Homicide Investigation


The Prince George’s County Police Department is now investigating the murder of a man whose body was located in Bethesda in late February. The investigation has revealed the victim was killed inside of a home in College Park. The victim is 25-year-old Francisco De La O De La Cruz of Rhode Island Avenue in College Park. The Prince George’s County Police Department has charged three suspects with 1st degree murder. Two of the suspects have fled the area and we are working to locate them. The third suspect in this case is in custody in Montgomery County and is awaiting transfer. 

On February 25th, at approximately 5:30 pm, the victim’s body was discovered behind a bus stop in the 10000 block of Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda. Montgomery County Police opened an investigation into his death. Through the course of their investigation, it was learned the victim was killed inside of a home in the 9000 block of Rhode Island Avenue in College Park and his body was then transported to Bethesda.  Montgomery County Police detectives identified three suspects. One of those suspects, 18-year-old Juan Rivera-Ingles of the 7000 block of Garrison Road in the West Lanham Hills area, was arrested and is currently in custody in Montgomery County.

The two outstanding homicide suspects are 37-year-old Jenny Jaimes of the 9000 block of Rhode Island Avenue and 17-year-old Jose Perdomo-Jaimes also of the 9000 block of Rhode Island Avenue. They are mother and son. It is believed they fled the area.  The suspect who is in custody, Juan Rivera-Ingles, is an acquaintance of theirs.

The victim was in a romantic relationship with Jenny Jaimes and was living in the home where he was killed. The investigation reveals Jenny Jaimes and the victim got into a domestic dispute prior to the murder.
