PGPD Investigates Fatal Collision in the City of Hyattsville

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash in the City of Hyattsville on Saturday morning. The victim is 23-year-old Matthew Thomas Sullivan of Huntingtown, MD.

On November 9^th, at approximately 2:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 3400 block of Purdue Street for a vehicle collision. The preliminary investigation reveals Sulllivan’s SUV struck multiple parked and unoccupied cars before his SUV caught fire. Sullivan suffered severe burns and was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigators are working to determine what caused the victim to strike the parked cars.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Choque en Ciudad de Hyattsville

La Unidad de Reconstucción y Análisis de Choques del Departamento de la Policía del Condado de Prince George’s investiga un mortal choque ocurrido en la Ciudad de Hyattsville el domingo en la mañana.
