PGPD Investigates Fatal Stabbing In Oxon Hill

Homicide Unit detectives are actively investigating a fatal stabbing in Oxon Hill. The victim is 19-year-old Erick Ruiz Reyes of Oxon Hill.

On November 18^th, at approximately 2:05 pm, Maryland-National Capital Park Police and PGPD officers responded to a community center property in the 1100 block of Marcy Avenue for a reported stabbing. When they arrived on the scene, officers found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. A second person was injured in the assault. Preliminarily, his injuries do not appear life threatening. 

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and establish a motive.

The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides that occur in the jurisdiction of Maryland-National Capital Park Police.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Apuñalamiento en Oxon Hill

Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios del Departamento de la Policía del Condado de Prince George investigan un mortal apuñalamiento ocurrido en Oxon Hill. La víctima fue identificada como Erick Ruiz Reyes, de 19 años y vecino de Oxon Hill.

El 18 de noviembre, a eso de las 2:05 pm, Oficiales de la Policía de Parques Nacionales de Maryland y oficiales de PGPD acudieron a los predios de un centro comunitario en la cuadra 1100 de Marcy Avenue tras recibir información sobre un apuñalamiento. Al llegar a la escena, los oficiales hallaron a la víctima sufriendo de múltiples puñaladas. Éste fue llevado al hospital en donde le declararon muerto poco después. Una segunda persona también resultó herida en el incidente. De manera preliminar, su heridas no parecieron ser severas.

Nuestros detectives buscan identificar posibles sospechosos y establecer el motivo del delito.

El Departamento de la Policía del Condado de Prince George’s investiga todo homicidio que ocurra dentro de la jurisdicción de la Policía de Parques Nacionales de Maryland.
