PGPD Arrests High School Teacher for Sexual Abuse of a Minor

K Sean Donovan

A teacher at Bowie High School in Bowie is facing charges in connection with the sexual abuse of a female student at the school. The teacher is 29-year-old K Sean Donovan Jr. of the 3200 block of Winterbourne Drive in Upper Marlboro.

On December 1st, the Prince George’s County Police Department launched an investigation after the student reported to a family member that she and Donovan were having a relationship. The investigation revealed that Donovan and the student were engaged in sexual contact on school grounds multiple times since May of 2019. The most recent incident took place in late November.

Donovan is charged with sexual abuse of a minor, third degree sex offense and related charges.

At this time, this is the only reported case involving Donovan.

PGPD Arresta a Maestro de Escuela Superior por Abuso Sexual Contra una Menor

Un maestro de Bowie High School enfrenta cargos en conexión a un caso de abuso sexual contra una estudiante en la escuela. El maestro fue identificado como K Sean Donovan Jr., de 29 años de edad y vecino de la cuadra 3200 de Winterbourne Drive en el área de Upper Marlboro.

El 1 de diciembre, el Departamento de la Policía del Condado de Prince George’s abrió una investigación luego de que la estudiante reportara a un familiar que ella y Donovan estaban en una relación. La investigación reveló que a partir de mayo de 2019 Donovan y la estudiante llevaron a cabo actos sexuales en los predios escolares en múltiples ocasiones. El incidente más reciente tuvo lugar a finales de noviembre.

A Donovan se le acusa de abuso sexual contra una menor, ofensa sexual en tercer grado y otros cargos relacionados.

Al momento, este es el único caso reportado que involucra a Donovan.
