Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting in Beltsville


Detectives with our Homicide Unit are conducting an investigation into the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Samie Neil of Adelphi. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Tipsters will never have to give their name.

On November 12th, at approximately 4:40 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3500 block of Powder Mill Road for the report of a shooting. They discovered Neil in a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.



Detectives are looking to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
